The moose, king of our forests, often finds itself in the spotlight in the paintings of Monique and Gisèle, who no longer count the hours spent observing them across the country. The largest deer in the world has a presence that makes it a prime subject when it comes to painting a landscape. How many moose-themed paintings have the artists created since the beginning of their career? Answering this question will probably be the challenge for art historians since they have preserved few traces of all the works acquired by collectors over the last decades.
