When the tamarack blooms…

Every spring, Gisèle observes the acrobatics of warblers and kinglets in majestic tamaracks, near her studio in Haute-Gaspésie. The yellow-rumped warbler is one of the first species to arrive. Insect pollinators are attracted to the tamaracks' flowers, which makes these trees a rendezvous place for migratory birds. The artist had long wanted to paint this scene filled with gentle poetry. Mission accomplished!
