This magnificent painting by Gisèle illustrates the magic of spring by featuring three of the first species to brighten our woods: the American woodcock, an early migrant; coltsfoot, which blooms just before the dandelion; and the mourning cloak butterfly, which flits about even though there are still some patches of snow on the ground. You can guess that the butterfly will fly away as soon as the woodcock takes one more step! A nature outing in the Mont-Saint-Pierre area of Haute-Gaspésie inspired this charming scene for the artist. A fine art giclée print on canvas is offered to you, with or without a frame.

Fine art prints to spread the beauties of art and nature

Each year, Monique and Gisèle allow the reproduction of a limited number of original paintings. They do this essentially to make the products derived from their art accessible to all budgets, and above all, to finance the educational projects of the Society of Art and Science for Nature (SAS Nature), the non-profit organization of which they are co-founders.
