GREY WOLVES OBSERVED BY THE ARTIST

When Gisèle paints a family of wolves comprising individuals with black or grey coats, she pays homage to the Manitous Pack that the Benoit trio observed and filmed for several years. This painting presents another theme dear to the artist: water in its solid and liquid form. A seasoned observer will also notice the cedars leaning over the river, trapped in ice and snow.
