Painting the Landscape at Sunset

Gisèle loves to play with the light in her artistic creations. This is the case in this painting, where the setting sun spreads a warm, golden light over the landscape and the moving wolves. We can clearly see the demarcation between the areas touched by its rays and the areas that fall into shadow and cold, a prelude to a long northern night.
