PAINTING THE ECOSYSTEM

Gisèle attaches great importance to the environment in which she presents her subjects. Thus, her painting Family of Raccoons and Marsh Callas goes beyond the simple portrait of a species. The artist has painted an ecosystem, the marsh, inside which animals, plants and elements form a whole. This work shows us a mother raccoon watching over her young while exploring the treasures of the pond. Notice the teats on the female's belly.
