IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF A GHOST

Painted in the early 90s, this striking work by Monique was reproduced in the art book Cascapédia “La Dame aux orignaux”, published in 2002. The recent presence of the eastern panther in Gaspésie not having been confirmed, the species belongs to the legends of the lost world of the Chic-Chocs, just like the wolf and the wolverine exterminated by man a century ago. Thanks to the magic of art, the cougar on the lookout painted by Monique shows us the mythical cat that no camera could capture. An almost life-size collector's item! Every detail of this painting has been expertly thought out and organized by Monique, who loves painting old stumps.
