Fireweeds, which moose love, colonize old cutting areas where elderberries attract several species of birds, such as the eastern bluebird. The artist painted this animal encounter based on observations and sketches made in the land of the wolf. Colour harmony sometimes becomes a topic in itself. For example, the blue of the bird's plumage, the red of the berries, the pink of the flowers and the multiple shades of green of the vegetation... Without forgetting the face of the young male moose! An ode to joy, pictorial version! This giclée fine art print on canvas is offered to you in two sizes, with or without a frame.

The web-series IN THE LAND OF THE WOLF, broadcasted on Gisèle Benoit's YouTube channel, allows us to go back to the sources of inspiration for this committed artist. This is the case for this painting, the origin of which can be seen in an episode of season 3.

The original painting belongs to the artist’s collection. Painted in 2023, it’s another major piece of the IN THE LAND OF THE WOLF Exhibition, which can be admired at the Monique and Gisèle Benoit Centre. This is a 30’’ x 36’’ (76 cm x 91 cm) oil on canvas.

Fine art prints to spread the beauties of art and nature

Each year, Monique and Gisèle allow the reproduction of a limited number of original paintings. They do this essentially to make the products derived from their art accessible to all budgets, and above all, to finance the educational projects of the Society of Art and Science for Nature (SAS Nature), the non-profit organization of which they are co-founders.
