Episode 13 – The Pack on the Hunt

In late spring, wolves use several strategies to capture their prey. However, beavers, hares and moose are adept at outsmarting them! Even the painted turtle manages to deceive the nest raiders. In the middle of this back and forth between the pursuers and the pursued, the female ruffed grouse is rewarded for her patience by the hatching of her chicks.
