In June, a scourge invades the boreal forest: black flies who are active during the day. Wolves have turned nocturnal to escape these insects, which adds to the difficulty of observing them. Fortunately for Gisèle and her family, there are small diurnal beings who accept to open the door to their magical world: butterflies and birds. Suddenly, an ice storm chills spring impulses in several species. Winter thus sends a last goodbye to the land of the wolf…
